annual Turtle Island Festival at Crawford Lake this Sunday. From 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., visitors can learn about
Iroquoian culture through storytelling with Chief Top Leaf, create crafts, go on
discovery hunts, sample Nature’s Tea or stroll through the village and check out
the Native Arts and Crafts sale.
Admission to the festival is included with the park
entry fee, $7.25 for adults, $6.25 for seniors, $5 for children (ages 5 to 15)
and free for children ages 4 and under.

Crawford Lake is located at the corner of Guelph Line
and Conservation Road, 15 km north of the QEW and five km south of Hwy 401.
