We have been super busy and seem to be on a roll. October is going to finish off with a bang.
1. Our science projects are due October 22nd and we have been working very hard and showing our creative sides. Please make sure to bring in all materials and information needed.
2. October 22nd has been chosen as the day of remembrance and celebration of Blessed John Paul II. We will be having a junior division liturgy and working on some lessons about John Paul II and discussing our Human Rights and Responsibilities.
3. Our School Feast Day mass at St. Matthews is on October 23rd. All parents are welcome to attend the mass. It will be at 10am.
4. October 24th we will be starting our monthly prayers of the Rosary. We are fortunate enough to have volunteers from the community to come in and lead us in prayer.
5. Yah!! Our first field trip is here. On October 25th we are going to Mountsberg. Parent volunteers have already been notified via the agenda. Dress warmly as most of the trip will be outdoors. Don't forget to bring a bagged lunch and your camera to get some great pics.
6. October 30th we have our Grade 6 liturgy with Father Mark. He always leaves us inspired.
7. Halloween is finally here...October 31st. Black and orange day is here and we will dance the day away. We look forward to receiving all those "healthy" treats.
