June Update

Although the year is slowly coming to a close...we are definitely not slowing down.  We have had a parachute testing facility in our room and have been making and testing different parachutes and looking at properties of flight.  All these findings will help us with our next assignment of designing and building our own flying models next week.  More details to come.

We are also going to be discussing current events around the world and there significance to our lives and those around us.

We will also be looking at Canada's Trading partners and the pros and cons of importing and exporting items.

Throughout all this hard work, we will be having some "FUN" times mixed in, so please come dressed for weather and for some activity.

Hurray... we are done!!

I don't about you...but I sure am glad EQAO is done...phew!  The students did an amazing job and said the test was easy and they felt very prepared.  We are definitely going to celebrate all our hard work.

I am SO PROUD of all the hard work we have done this year.

EQAO

EQAO will be held May 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st

We are in the home stretch of our EQAO review and practice tests.  Please make sure students are well rested during that week.  It may seem like we don't have too much homework lately, but we have been really busy in class reviewing all concepts we have learned over the years.  Feel free to practice some questions at home.

Happy Victoria Day!

Hope everyone had a fabulous long weekend celebrating Queen Victoria's birthday.   I know I really enjoyed the warm weather and loved watching the firework displays around my neighbourhood.

Thank you guests

I would like to Thank all of you who were able to join us today for our presentations.  The students worked really hard and were very excited to present them.  I am blessed to work with such wonderful kids and I know they are a reflection of the amazing families from which they come from.

Thank you to all of you!

Way to go Alysha!

Amazing work by another one of our students....way to go!!
